Oracle Park

Oracle Park is a baseball stadium opened in 2000 located in the city of San Francisco, CA and is the home of the San Francisco Giants. The park, formerly known as AT&T Park, is located on the waterfront in San Francisco's South Beach neighborhood, close to downtown. The stadium's design features a natural grass field and views of San Francisco Bay. The park also has several restaurants and bars, as well as a museum.

Oracle Park is one of San Francisco's most famous tourist destinations to visit for both locals and visitors. The stadium is accessible by public transportation, and there are several parking options available for those driving to the park.

The construction of Oracle Park started in 1997 and was finalized in September of 2000. The park is built on the site of a former railway yard, and it was designed by HOK Sport (now Populous). Giants players vote for the most inspiring player every year in the "Willie Mac" award, which is also named after McCovey.

On King Street, there are several sculptures and plaques commemorating past Giants players, notably Willy Mays' statue at King and 3rd Street at Willy Mays Plaza. Orlando Cepeda and Gaylord Perry are also honored with statues.

Popular Features of Oracle Park

McCovey Cove

Since Barry Bonds retired, McCovey Cove has had fewer splash hits, but it still receives a collection of boats every game. There are some kayakers trying for home runs, but it's more likely a passing tour boat or a yacht party. Between the stadium and the main parking lot, a new pop-up bar area was opened on the far side of McCovey Cove.

Coca-Cola bottle

A big Coke bottle has been below the left-field bleachers since Oracle Park first opened as Pac Bell Park. Coke sponsored it, and Coke products can be found at Oracle Park. Children may slide down the Coca-Cola bottle.

Free Viewing Area

Are you aware that you can watch at least a portion of every Giants game for free? A free viewing area is located at the base of the brick wall in the right field, beneath the out-of-town scoreboard, and may be accessible from the street.

Gotham Club “Secret Bar”

A "hidden" speakeasy bar named the Gotham Club is located behind the out-of-town scoreboard in the right field's stone wall. It has two secret entrances, a complete bar, and a bowling alley.

The Garden

The Garden, located just below the main scoreboard, is a large open space with two healthy eateries, Hearth Table and Garden Table.
